11.30-13.00 Sessione 2: Workshop per docenti di lingua inglese
In this 90-minute practical workshop, you will explore a range of differentiated, ready-to-use classroom activities and reflect on how preparing for Trinity’s Suite of Exams can help students build real-life skills that are meaningful and purposeful to them. Using station rotation and choice boards, the session will ensure activities are tailored for your teaching context and levels, from Pre-A1 to B2.

Katy Kelly is a freelance teacher trainer and materials writer, specialising in early years, primary and secondary education. She has worked in the public bilingual sector and for private education providers, such as the British Council, Cambridge University Press, International House, Bell English in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and South America, providing face-to-face and online training on YL methodology, CLIL and train-the trainer. She has co-authored a three book exam preparation series (Your Way to GESE) for Trinity College London Press, written the phonics section for a CUP primary book series (Kids Box 3rd Edition), tests for a primary series, a three book KG series, KG and primary curriculums for local governments and worked on book adaptations for several publishers. She is a regular conference presenter and delivers webinars for teachers from various countries.

Chris is a teacher, trainer and methodology writer based in Seville with over twenty-five years' experience working in the profession. He has taught in mainstream schools, private language academies and for the British Council in Damascus and Barcelona. An ELT 'ideas man', he is well-known for his lively but practical sessions. Chris is particularly interested in the dialogue between teachers and learners, language retention and the lesson as an event in itself. He is the author of five methodology books including Understanding Teenagers in the ELT Classroom (2018, Pavilion) and Structuring Fun for Young Learners in the ELT Classroom (2020, Pavilion). He tutors on the Trinity Certificate and Diploma courses. His YouTube channel is called Teaching Teenagers English.

Teacher Trainer: Anna Bennett

Anna is Head of Product Support for English Language at Trinity College London across Italy and Central Europe. Drawing on her background in teacher training and classroom practice, Anna develops resources and training to support teachers and learners, and has led numerous workshops on digital literacy, communicative assessment and innovative classroom strategies. She is committed to collaboration and professional growth, regularly contributing to projects and events connecting teachers across Europe.

Teacher Trainer: Manuela kelly Calzini

Manuela Kelly Calzini is Senior Academic at Trinity College London, Italy, and Lecturer in Primary Education Sciences at the University of Florence. She specialises in English as a Foreign Language (EFL) education, teacher training, and continuing professional development. Her research interests include Young Learners, the development of communicative skills, CLIL, and the use of storytelling and Drama as pedagogical tools. An experienced international trainer, she regularly speaks at conferences and publishes in professional journals and educational resources for teachers. More recently, she designed the Teaching Speaking course for Trinity College London and conducted a pilot study on teacher self-efficacy and cognitions, with particular attention to mediation in oral communication. Manuela is an EALTA member.
