Descrizione
In recent years, Content and Language Integrated Learning (CLIL) has gained widespread recognition as an effective approach to teaching and learning in a multilingual context. This approach combines the learning of a specific content area, such as music, with the development of language skills, such as reading, writing, listening and speaking.
In this webinar, we will explore how CLIL can be applied to the teaching and assessment of music, using Trinity's Music Exams as a reference point. Trinity's Music Exams are designed to assess a candidate's musical skills and knowledge, as well as their ability to communicate about music in English.
The webinar will feature expert speakers who will share their experiences and insights on the following topics:
- Understanding the principles of CLIL and how they can be applied to music education
- Examining the benefits of CLIL in enhancing students' musical and language skills
- Exploring the structure and content of Trinity's Music Exams and how they can support CLIL teaching and learning
- Providing practical tips and strategies for incorporating CLIL into music lessons and assessment
This webinar is suitable for music teachers, language teachers, examiners, and anyone interested in enhancing their understanding of CLIL and its application in music education. Join us to discover how CLIL and Trinity's Music Exams can help students develop a deeper appreciation and understanding of music, while also improving their language proficiency.
